HEINZMANN offers one of the most extensive ranges of speed governors for large engines and turbines. When combined with the corresponding HEINZMANN actuators, the control units presented here form the ideal governor system for diesel, gas and dual-fuel engines, as well as gas, steam and water turbines.

Digital Governors

HEINZMANN's digital governors are highly valued on account of their flexibility, which means they can meet all customer requirements and prerequisites. Our governor systems are known for their durability and tried-and-tested reliability. They can be used for engines of any size, type and make. Alongside our standard products, we can also offer bespoke solutions that are tailored to specific applications.

EFI Controls

HEINZMANN’s EFI governors for electronic fuel injection actuate diesel and gas injection systems which are operated by a solenoid valve. The governors can be used for engines with up to 6, 8 or 24 cylinders. The injection timing and duration are set using the DcDesk configuration tool and can be specified in line with the engine designer's requirements.

The HEINZMANN Group’s range of products is supplemented by a series of hydraulic speed governors from REGULATEURS EUROPA. With over sixty years of experience, the company is a renowned specialist in the field of hydraulic control.

Integrated Speed Governors

The combined speed governors presented here unite the functions of a control unit and actuator in a single compact design. As such, they offer the greatest possible degree of flexibility when it comes to choosing the installation position, and can be used as a perfect replacement for governors made by other manufacturers.

Analogue Governors

Analogue control systems offer a number of advantages, including the ability to easily set the control parameters (e.g. the speed range, PID and proportional band) and the possibility of isochronous operation (proportional band of zero). In addition to their excellent control properties, a further benefit of analogue systems is that there is no need for software or a programming unit – merely a small screwdriver to set the potentiometers.
