Optimal control technology for any type of diesel engine

Analogue, all-electric HEINZMANN speed governors are suitable for performing relatively simple control functions in situations where the control quality needs to be consistently high. They stand out by offering a fast response and low overshoot in conjunction with high-precision speed control. They can easily and efficiently be installed on the engine. Generator-specific functions such as automatic synchronisation, load sharing and feedforward control can be provided using the relevant accessories from the HEINZMANN range.

Analogue Speed Governors

Analogue control systems offer a number of advantages, including the ability to easily set the control parameters (e.g. the speed range, PID and proportional band) and the possibility of isochronous operation (proportional band of zero). In addition to their excellent control properties, a further benefit of analogue systems is that there is no need for software or a programming unit – merely a small screwdriver to set the potentiometers. Analogue control systems are ideal for applications requiring constant speed control (generator systems).
